- In the Faroes you can see a lot of beauteful gardens. On this
page, you can see some pictures from our garden - we starded our garden-project last
summer (98). On the pictures it is winter - we hope to bring you some summer-pictures from
our garden.

- The land of maybe - One
can hardly imagine a place on earth where the climate has so much influence on daily life
as on the Faroe Islands. To every decision and plan we have to add " if the
weather allows it ". The best way to describe the weather is "extremely
changeable". On the same day one can expierence snow, sunshine, rain, wind,
calmness and fog so thick that you can cut in it and also the air so clean that a mountain
50 kilometres away seems very close. A weeks storm completly paralyses the fishindustry
and the fishermen have to go home and also the women who work at the fischfactories have
to go home and just vait. These storms often damage many trees.

- Because of this (the weather),
it is very difficult working with plants and trees, but at the same time it is very
interresting, and we are interrested in information from other garden-projects..
